Sounds like a good time. I'll have to see about making it down there... probably not though :(

Make sure to get lots of pics for those of us who can't make it!

fall trial ride/swap meet/campout

Guys, everyone wants a place to ride, no one comes up with areas or events to ride. Jim has done all the leg and head work to put together a ride, a place to hold the event...........show some support and join in!!!!

Thanks Brandt,
It might not be a big elaborate "Event", but I'ts a good way to get to know each other and have some fun together and RIDE!!!!
Come out and do some riding on ecellent trails and camp out in a beautiful park, share some food and play poker or something in the evening, get some pictures and memories...... It's worth all the effort to make it there.

Im not real sure how my Atlas would do down there. Id take my It490 but it's almost too big to be around the little bikes.

Im not sure how 10" tall tires would do in the sand either, Especially with my Fat butt on the bike. It has no Suspension.

Also where would we ride?. I may try to get My 1972 Yamaha lt2 100cc going and bring it if we are riding trails. If we are scooting around on a hard surface my Atlas would work great. Im sure it would do good in the trails too but thats aweful rough on a fat dude on a bike with no susp. :)

O Well, I'll find somthing to bring!! If the atlas is going to suck where we are riding I'll bring either the lt2 or the it490, whichever I can get running!.

Dennis,
You can bring whatever you want to ride. Your 490 would be fine, just wouldn't fit well with the minis when we're doing the trail ride, but there is plenty of room for your big bike/bikes. You can also ride on the pavement in the campgrounds if you have a rigid. I'm bringing my Roadster for the trails and my old Sears bike for riding to the showers etc. in the campgrounds area.

Frank, I-44 is a nice easy shot for you. Once you would get to Rolla area you would want to cross country eastward. Several nice cross country roads come from the Rolla, Steelville, Cuba MO areas right towards the event area.

Come on out and play!!!!

Looks like Im gonna make it. My Buddy is coming with Old school jc penny bike and I'll bring the atlas and whatever runs of my bigger bikes.

I assume we will try pretty much anything down there along with everyone else, but we are hard tail bikes so we will see how it goes.

I think we are just going down for the day, Im on OT so its hard to get off of work.

Look forward to meeting you all.

Heres my Buddies newly rebuilt bike. It has some sratches on it now though. He bit it hard the first time he road it with that big 6.5 tec.. Handlebar bolt is fixed now as well.

Figured I better post before some of you guys get on the road for the weekend festivities. Since I have a prior commitment, I can not come down and play, so, HAVE A GREAT TIME and ride a few miles for me.
