Frijole rebuild

Here is my Frijole. Originally, I had a West Bend 610 on it. Because the chain is dangerous on the left I am rebuilding it with a West Bend 580 manage that issue. Pat wanted me to share the thread. So here we go.....

I was able to locate the correct 5" Taco style wheels. The go powers are gone.....

Here is the roller with the new sprocket. I will be using a band break on this..

Here is the stroke West Bed 580 with dual carbs that I will use. I'm waiting for the mount.

Thank all. It's not going to be a fast built. But I'll update as I progress.

When the engine mount arrives, the bike will be stripped. The engine plate on the frame is designed for a Mc Culloch. It will be removed and mounted flat. The pegs will be moved forward.

Motor arrived. I got some parts assembled. Still waiting for mount. I want mock it up before I blast the frame. I have a break disk coming thanks to Mac! :thumbsup:

I test fire the engine and got the carbs adjusted.

I got the engine assembly done. Now the frame is coming apart. The McCullough style mount will be removed and reinstalled flat.
