So I got my wards 525 done. Bike is awesome. Runs great, rides nice, power is good. I love the take off power but want a little more top end. I’m currently running 12 tooth clutch to 15 tooth jack in then 12-48 rear. What’s the best way to get that top speed a little bit higher. Seems to top at like 27 mph. Don’t wanna really use a smaller rear sprocket since it was a pain to mount and center. Also don’t wanna lose to much of the acceleration. Thanks for the help

Need more info , based on that gearing you are at 5-1 , it should be slow outta the hole and have plenty of top speed ??

a 14th on jackshaft out would give you about 4.2-1 , BMI Karts has a nice jackshaft calculator !

What engine do you have?
Does it still have the governor on it?
What carb are you using?
