Giving Throttle Wants to cut off....

Hey Guys, Just got another Mini the other day. It has a TEC 5hp OHV Power Sport Engine. It was running fine then it started to try to cut off when I give it the Throttle. I replaced the Air Filter and Noticed the Old one was Wet with Gas....Normal??? I ran perfect for around 2 weeks. I do not know much about these Engines.....Any Help??

Sounds like the float got stuck, even newer tecumseh carbs are tricky to keep in good shape. Might just be dirty and something stuck in the seat, take it apart and clean it then see if it still does the same thing.:thumbsup:

Is your float bowl level? If it is slanted, the float won't work right,

I replaced the Fuel Filter and put on a New gasket between Carb and out take?? Dont know what thats called.... Anyway I works fine now. The Gasket was toast. Thanx
