Gov question

I'm herein alot of stuff that if i remove my ove from my engine i will go slower. I already removed it. I seem to be goin alot faster like 10 MPh faster. but

whats the problem with takin it out of the engine.?


people tell me that my top end will be slower or my take off will be slower.

but both my top end and take off seem to be alot faster.


Is this true or is this just my engine?

the problem is, like i mentioned MANY times before, is if you have your ungoverned engine revving real high for too long you'll blow your engine!

Without changing your gearing, taking off your governer will give you much more torque AND much more top speed...

i dont think anyone has said that removing the govenor will make u go slower. read more carefully what others are posting.

You should still take off the same. But you should have more top speed.

of course the guys at the local engine shop said that it would make you go slower! They we're lying to you! they don't WANT you to take the gov. off... BTW, what shop was it? i might know the people..
