i have one its black to with brown primer no carb and has some kind of pully on it 50 bucks

It's going to be hard to tell what year an engine is. The numbers are on the blowwer housing. If you find a 1971 housing and put it on any year that was the same as the 71, that's probably as close as you'll get. You can always paint it white with engine enamel. Brake cleaner and air pressure will take all the old paint off.
