H35 engine year??

Can somebody tell me what year this tec h35 engine is. H35-454101 serial # 2166b. I know there is a web site for tec., but I can't seem to find it now..(computer retart) I may have even asked about this engine before. Thanks all:thumbsup:

(2) 72, 82, 92 With that decal it would be a 1982 or '92. But a '92 would have the newer recoil, so we can assume 1982
(166) 166th day of the year
(b) line or shift number

I'm not sure that the decal is original I really haven't ripped into it yet. what year did points stop? Thanks randy.

IDK about the year of points for sure. But that is a points engine. The shroud sorta gives it away. But the long plug wire guarantees it.

Thanks. I need to work on this engine. I think its gonna go in my 67 ruttman (some day). What decal for engine is "correct" for 1967?? Thanks

Heck, I don't care:laugh:. On the decal I would guess a Balloon type. Brandt has real nice ones.
