harley engine?

I have a brand new still in the wooden crate engine. Still in plastic and covered with cosmolin. I was wandering if it had any value since it is unused and in original crate. I am going to enclose a couple pictures. If anyone could help me some info, it would be great. I have had this engine for over 35 years and had forgot about it until the other day when I was looking for something found it again. It has the exhaust pipe and gear shift in the box with it. They are both still in the original wrapping.

I'm thinking it might be an Arramachi engine.
The Italian line of Harleys.

Is it a gear-shifter or kick start?

It's worth something alright.

Its the kick start lever. The shifter was the left grip on those old HD scooters.

When you pulled the clutch lever you rotated the entire left grip and lever to the gear you want.

I had a 68 when I was a kid.

Yea the kick start is on the left side of the engine and you kick it forward. I remember you could roll the bike backwards and release the clutch and it would run in reverse.
