How do I find the serial number on a Rupp Roadster 2?

How do I know the model year of a Rupp Roadster 2?

How do I find the serial # on the engine?

What the difference between the Roadster and Roadster 2 besides 10" and 12" wheels?

Also, any place that has a free online copy of the owners manual for Rupp Roadster 2?

I think there is a sticker under the seat for the serial number.

As said above, most had SN on tag under seat foam. But, most fell off because seat pan rusted. The 74's had it stamped on the seat pan.

Model years are by color. Frame painted to match tank is a 71. Black frame is 72, 73, Painted front fender is a 74.

Serial number on engine, pre-74 should be on a tag on shroud, side of eng torwards front of bike. 74's used different flywheel & shroud and SN is stamped on top of shroud.

Other difference between 70 & 71 is frame lenght. The 70 is longer. The eng mount holes are further from the jackshaft. That means longer TC cover.
