5 5 Horse Fan New Member Feb 26, 2009 #4 Feb 26, 2009 #4 Some clutches work with short shafts. Some need longer shafts to bolt on to, like the racing clutches. Bottom line is: If your making lots of power, you need a long shaft or you could shear the keyway.:thumbdown: I have seen it happen.:doah:
