how to make brake for racing mower

#5
usually they have a tiny disk brake on the transaxle. When there in good shape usually you can easily lock the tires up. Id try and get that to work

I didn't look to closely at the link, above, but I suppose they have classes for stock mowers? Most types of racing have classes for stock & mod rigs.

a couple of things:
First of all listen to steve... he knows what hes talking about i know him from heymow..
second of all you should set up direct steering because the stock steering WILL break.
third of all the braske on the transaxle will NOT and i repeat NOT work for a modified mower.. it will wear the brake pad down in a second and you'll go flying into a tree..
foruth of all stock class racing is boring as hell since your only going 5MPH and very few groups even have stock class racing anymore.
last of all what mower do you have? post a pic? that way i can help you out better (or you could just take a 20 minute ride to my house and i could help you in person lol dont forget i live so close to you lol)
