HS 40 crankshaft dimensions

#1
I have a HS40 engine which I am rebuilding for my 1970 Rupp Roadster. Does anyone know what is the correct length of the crankshaft which the 1970 Rupp roadster should have?
Thank you

This is a later spec sheet, but THIS IS the correct crankshaft that tecumseh used on all HS40 engines supplied to Rupp (#33080), This was the last version HS40 (1980) to use that crankshaft as they changed the taper at the end of 1980, hope it helps:

Bore and stroke dimensions are listed on the spec sheet above, just like all the specs of the crankshaft are as well. Does the scanned image NOT show up

The correct engine numbers for a 1970 Rupp Roadster are HS40 55282b

Yes sir, I see it. Thank you. My engine has the diaphragm carb, which I believe is correct for 1970?
Correct, they (tecumseh) used that for angled/slanted engine applications from the beginning of the HS40 at the very end of 1968 up into the first quarter of 1971. The correct diaphragm carb will have 356 stamped onto the mount flange.
