Hs50 no spark need help

#1
I tried to start my 1977 hs50 and there's no spark. I removed the flywheel and cleaned the magneto and still nothing:( I'm not very familiar with a points setup, what should be my next step or what should I replace. Thanks. image.jpeg

Bryce...take the aluminum cover off of the mag and sand the points contacts then clean the contacts with alcohol and a lint free rag....don't take the points out unless you have to.

If you cleaned and sanded the point contacts and the gap is correct . You should check to see if your coil is good. Google Tecumseh Coil Check and there is video on You Tube to show you how to do it .

Ok I was back at it again today. I got new points and condenser, I decided to replace just the condenser to make it easy and I had spark after putting the engine back together. It wants to start then all of a sudden I have no spark again? I just don't get it!!
