I like how a new carb, air filter and spark plug qualifies it as "rebuilt". I see pitting on the top of the shroud under the fresh paint too.

I hate to say it but, the price is not unreasonable !

I was at a local small engine repair shop, New old stock HS50 TEC with light coil on the shelf.

I ask how much, 700.00 + dollars ( Ouch )

Light coil and flywheel go for up to 175.00

Engines for up to 235.00 and more.

I guess you can wait for the Cheap one or buy now.:shrug:

As for his Paint over rust and so called rebuild, Um well

Yes, it is. Unreasonable, greedy and ignorant. Before anyone spends that kind of money on that piece of crap, let me know. I have a new (completely rebuilt) lighted HS40 on a Powell, all tricked out, lots of chrome, for about twice as much.
