Hydraulic brake???

so ihave the hydraulic brakes from hotrodminibikes and the caliper broke during a day of riding so once iget the new caliper in the mail is it just a simple swap no brake fluid.

I have been hearing about those breaking, but mine has been fine. Are you sure you have it mounted centered and parallel to the disc?

You will have to bleed the caliper... Any time the hydraulic system is opened, it should be bled.

im pretty sure it was but by bleed what do u mean

You gotta bleed the brakes that means getting the air out of the line so its full of fluid an no air in line.ut:

its easy to do... try and let it gravity bleed first, then take it back to old school, pump the lever hold and loosen the bleeder valve until all the air is out the line... spend some time on youtube, has plently of examples
