I wana take the govenor of my enginePLEASE HELP FAST!!

Ok i have a 4.5 robin enigne i wana take the gov off of it.



How do i take that little gear out of inside the wall of the crank case?

With out breakin it.

If i take the gov out.

How much fast witll my mini go??

What will break, how will it break?

Is this somthing i should not do?? and why?

please help fast

Break it out, if it won't just pull out. Remember you don't need it anymore.

I can't say how much faster it would go. There is just to many things that vary. But if your motor is a OHC subaru/robin then the rod is stronger then all of the other factory motors from the start.

Never had a robine but there should be some clips holding it in or if it's like a Briggs, it will have two pins that you push out. Then you may have to deal with your linkage depenting on what your doing.

What it will do is stop the gov from cutting off and you'll have more RPMs and speed. What will hurt is over reving your engine but thats up to you so break the engine in easy before driving it hard. :thumbsup:
