Idle Jet

#3
To remove the pilot jet you must first remove the idle adjusting screw. The pilot jet is that black plastic thing sticking into the carb just underneath the idle adjust screw. Carefully pry it up on both sides under the lip with a couple of small screw drivers. Be careful as just below the lip is an o-ring that is easily damaged. I’ve seen small pieces of this o-ring get into the pilot jet and cause the same problem you’re having. The idle jet is a small piece of brass permanently encased in the black plastic housing.
