Still NO torque

Yea them 2 strokes rev like crazy but still are low on torque,and that is what makes ya move. I like the sound of a big bore"7hp" Medium frame Tecumseh with a tapered baloney cut straight pipe...AWESOME:thumbsup:

That snow blower motor can be used if you are not looking for alot of speed. I built a scooter with one, they rev to 4k at put out around 2.5hp, my scooter will do 20mph but not much more. Not alot of low end either, but what you give up in power you gain in lightweight and compactness. If your carb has both mixture screws, HANG ON TO IT! You can idle them down low enough to use a regular 5/8" clutch as long as you have the carb with an idle circut. later carbs only have a hi speed mixture screw and no idle circuit.
