You can get those one ebay time to time for 700ish there sluggish and shift like a tractor but could be interesting for a project.

No way, that thing is $1000 for a Chinese engine.. The more to it, the more that can fail. I'd rather run a Honda XR200, cr125 motor or something like that. You can get an 80's XR200 or CR125 for less than $1000, then get to chopping.
