Is a 30 TAV too small ?

I am building a 212 Predator hemi with all the goodies just short of needing machine work to go any further. The engine started out with 6.5 HP before I added anything to it. 30 TAV's claim they are good to 8 HP. Should I go with a larger TAV and bush the crank to fit, or am I drinkin my bathwater?

My super Bronc has 8 hp, and a 30 torque converter, does great.

I think most of the folks running built clones are also running 30's aren't y'all....Gumpit, Harley's Papa, etc..:shrug:

Yes, I run a 30 on my race trike and I am well over 8h :thumbsup:
