The mini bike that you have is a 1971 Broncco TX-1L. The engine was a 3.8 hp;however, marketed as 4hp in the sales literature. Parts are extremely hard to find. The weak point is gas tank rust. The model mini bike was only offered in two colors that being orange and yellow. My Broncco was a 2 year restoration effort. My name is Pete

The gas tank caps are very hard to find. Keep your eye out on eBay in looking for a good tank. The metal used is very thin and was prone to rusting through unfortunately.
Some parts are shared with a Broncco TX6. Because the TX-1L was a one year old model finding parts is very difficult. It took me years to collect all the parts that I needed. I sold off all of my spare parts with the exception of some rim and used tires.
Hey Pete, thanks for you help and knowledge. If you don't mind I have a lot of questions, but won't need all the answers right away.I do have the bike all apart and media blasted.Just making to do list now. Thanks DaveO
