Jr Dragster Raptor Engine

#1
Hey guys , i am new here and hope to get some infos and help on rebuilding and modifying our 11,99 sec jr dragster raptor engines .
we are based on a I/C Briggs Raptor
We are going to use stock crank , aluminium rod and aluminium piston.
billet lifters , comp cam , dual valve springs and some other goodies.
unfortunately i dont have piston ring gap , crank endplay etc yet .
so any help is highly apreciated.
We are running a 28 carb on Methanol .
Does anybody know a bit more exact on what type of engine this is based on ?
it does not have any opening for speed limiter , seems to be a pure racing engine .
Does anybody has a good I/C partnumber to check with the local Briggs dealer to check for spare parts like seals , shims for the crank etc ….
Best regards from Luxembourg

Thank you very much for the warm welcome .
I got another engine case of Ebay for 30$ yesterday , a good I/C case with 0.002 out of roundness at the cylinder (good enough for our purpose)
Exhaust valve guide worn out , intake valve no guide yet in it.
I will modify both valve guides and put in some good valves dual springs etc.
Does anybody has a well sorted online shop where I can order stuff like :
billet piston
billet conrod
Bearings
valve springs
all the good and fast stuff basically .
I have a milling machine and a lathe at home. so I gonna build all of this myself.

No that engine used to have a standard ignition system without computer.
It is attached to the cylinderhead, unfortunately I dont have a pic of it , but I will take one later today and post it .

This is going to be a 11.99 sec Motor for the lower class for our 8 year old son .
the oldest , 13 years is JMA so 7.9 sec with a 3.250 bore all billet Pure power motor , usually at around 50 hp for a 250 lbs car .

So , one more casing in my collection.
This one looks to me like being a double ball bearing one

So this might be a good base for a high rpm race engine.
could anybody please help me out on the following .
i would like to have a list of the „basic design series“ which is part of the P/N engine number .
could somebody please give me a P/N of a 5hp flathead I/C with one ball bearing , would be way easier to look for std spare parts like seals etc.
and maybe also a P/n of one of the double ball bearing ones .
i ordered some material to build my own valve guides too .
Best regards
Sam

Bearing block 132232

ARC website for the flywheel/rod/possible piston..

And please post a picture of how the actual coil mounted to the cylinder head if you have one.. Cutting off the coil posts off and mounting it to a head bracket seems interesting.
