Karts of the past....

Hey Pindrive… just curious do you have any interest in minibikes ? Hell you don't even have to own a mini bike.

I looked, and every single one of your 20+ threads and 80 posts are about a go-kart or your go-kart .

No wait…I'm wrong....there was one about a mini bike you spotted on CL….you titled it “GO Kart Guys….”

http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/more-than-two-wheels/68123-go-kart-guys.html

Normally I stay out of this sort of thing but that one has always stuck in my craw…
I guess you figured the “Mini-Bike” guys on the Old Mini Bike Forum wouldn’t be interested in an old Bonanza mini bike….

You’ve have a least 10 threads running about that same kart….and you’ve posted the same exact video 4 different times in 4 different threads. If you post it in a thread and get only one reply you post it again somewhere else. You even posted it under “Engine Modifications”.

In case you haven’t noticed this is a mini bike forum.

We get that it’s nice kart....we get that you need your ego stroked, we all do…just take it easy.

Hey, I've tried to delete my account months ago. I realized this is a mini-bike site and more a yard kart site. But the photo's are full sized and some of the best on the internet.
I'm in Alaska and the only way I can participate in my sport is long distance. So, I get out and run by myself and and make karting friends long distance like I have here. But, if my posting pictures and video's of me running by myself irritates you, sorry.

* Administrator could you delete my account please.
*I want to thank members that were helpful with they're suggestions, and patience, in particular the guy's from Oregon that supplied me with some rare parts for reproduction.

Good-bye and thanks again.

Look we're not trying to run you off .....but the "More than 2 Wheels" and the "Vintage Kart" sub-forums and threads are an ancillary part of the site...something to talk about when we're not talking about mini-bikes.

It just seems you're working it backwards...at times your posts even seem condescending towards mini bikes. Seems they would be better suited and better appreciated on one of the many vintage kart forums.

Imagine for example if one of us joined a vintage kart forum and continually and exclusively posted about our mini bike. I have a feeling they would not be nearly as patient and accomodating as we have been.

There are lots of posts pertaining to 2-stroke powered minis..Westbend, McCulloch, Clintons etc.....

Jump in once in a while and lend your expertise... I'm sure you have a lot of knowledge that is tangible and would benefit our regular members...

Thank you Kustom, but I realized I didn't belong here long ago, but, how do you quit this site? I've never looked past the 4 wheel section, so I didn't think mini bike comments were appropriate under the four wheel topic, this is a picture of the closest thing I own to a minibike, but I have owned them in the past. I don't post pictures of other peoples stuff or internet photo's. All the pictures I posted were of add on's or updates, but no one seem to notice. I've always deleted my photo's after a few weeks, and the same with the video's. It's like you said after my first post, "I'm no beginner" but your photo's are first rate, and I've learned a lot from members. Could you please delete my account? thank you and my apologizes.

*It's fascinating seeing guy's that have thousands of posts, good luck and good bye.

I don't have much of a problem other than he's always posting the exact same photos and videos. Then rolls on a bit snooty about how tough you have to be to live in Anchorage, and ride 700 V5 powered karts. (Be afraid, be very afraid) Maybe I did assholishly jab him above, but damn, I need some new kart material to be afraid of.

I don't take any offense to comments here or lack of comments. The pictures I posted were of subtle differences. They weren't noticed. But this isn't a pure vintage kart site, so I didn't expect them to be.
For instance the last photo I posted had a vintage McHal helmet I just acquired, and before that it was a picture of my karts outside, this after having the enduro inside for the past two years. I posted picture without engines and with as they were acquired and front wheels as they were purchased. I've only participated in other peoples posts only to identify karts they couldn't. I've never participated in the minibike sections other then look for blueprints for a Big Bear Scrambler. The comment I made about being afraid was simply because I wouldn't want to ride a minibike with a racing kart engine on it.
I'm not abandoning this site because I'm going away mad, I'm just going away. It's crazy when pictures of pure vintage karts are taken as body blows to some members.
But Caretta's being the Bugatti's of vintage karts, some guy's don't want them advertized as it may drive the prices up, it's understandable.

.....are you saying the karts belonging to OldMiniBikes members aren't as rare or desirable?

I sir, beg to differ:

Ingels and Borelli coudn't have dreamed of such a fine machine....and all for the princely sum of 50 bucks....

btw...I thought you left.....
