I'm going to pick up a klipper kart tomorrow for 150 it needs a paint job and has a jing jang 6.5 motor on it at the moment, Can anyone share any info on them , Any good, are they durable and what motors were on them? I won't have any pics until tomorrow, Thanks for anything you can tell me about them...

klipper kart was made by t&d metal in watseka illnois , the tag number is on the front of the motor mount. they are durable and build out of 1in tubing.

look for the floor pan decal 1was path winder and 1was path finder .

I was looking at a few you tube videos. They look like pretty solid, well built karts.

The Sidewinder II had an 8HP Tecumseh engine with a series 40 t/c which means they made their own jackshaft arrangement. The tires were 22" knobby tires in the rear and 20" knobby in the front. Once you show the picture I will post the brochure about the kart you got. As for engines they ONLY used Briggs and Tecumseh. They had 5 models to chose from.
