"Lil Indian" painted on the back of the seat.

There is a Lil Indian minibike currently on Ebay that has "Lil Indian" painted on the back of the seat. Was this common practice?

Wrong seat for that model....but yes on the suspension bikes it was common.

Mine to Mark. I think maybe they used this seat in the early 70s on some bikes. I'm pretty certain from the story that my seller told me that it was the original seat.

I got mine from a buddy, and he got it from a scrap guy so who knows if it's original or not. I still have the seat but took it apart years ago, I think it's stashed in a box somewhere...

Those seats where found on the lil Indian sabre's but maybe could've been an option or upgrade for the smaller frames as well...
