Looking for balloon tires

My Montgomery Wards T777 (Buffalo) needs new tires. It has old Carlisle (USA) balloon knobby tires that are 21x12-8. Does anyone know where I can buy replacements? I'd like to keep the round knobby tread, instead of a flatter "turf" tire, but I can't find them. If I can't get this size, what should I do? I think I saw a 22x11-8 somewhere, will this work?

Tim: It looks like they don't make the 21 inch tire anymore they go from a 18 inch to the 22X11x8 part # 537050 . I saw them offered from Tires they listed them for $59.00 each. I have never done business with them but they are from the mid-west. Steve

hey tim.
if you have a "discount tires store" in your area,...you may find them helpful.
in my area, they order directly from carlisle and charge $7.00 to have the tire shipped and their prices have been reasonable in the past.
carlisle has at least a couple of good tread choices for what you need.

I can get 22x11-8 tires, these look like suitable replacements. Thanks for your responses. I'm going to start the restoration of the Buffalo after the new year. I will keep you guys updated as the work progresses. Merry Christmas!
