Not sure if I can make it in August but my wife definitely wants to come back next year. We've been coming up the weekend after mother's day since 2005. I don't drink but my wife really liked your place.

I have included a schedule of the different rides we will be taking. Hope to see you there.
Mini bikes on the farm 2023 schedule of rides

This year we are offing rides that will accommodate all skill levels, advanced, intermediate and easy.

10:15 - Tour 1 is our “Poker Run” this is rated advanced as it will include traveling seasonal back roads that will include uneven ground, sand and 2 track driving. This ride will also take us trough some of the most breathtaking views in the area that you won’t see anywhere else.

11:30 – Tour 2 will be our intermediate drive. We will travel though our cherry orchards and our working vineyard. Included will be a stop along the way to tour my antique gas station. On this ride we will be mostly on grass with a short drive on a seasonal dirt road.

2:00 – Tour 3 will be our easy ride as we will be traveling on mostly blacktop surfaces. We will be driving along country roads in the surrounding area taking in the beauty of what makes “Up North” a special place to live.

All rides last about 45 minutes each. All Participants are required to sign a waiver.

Yes we will be hosting our 3rd annual Mini Bikes on the farm on August 9th and 10th 2024 for more information check out us out on our facebook page , or send me an email at shooksd@torchlake.com
I'll be there next week for some wine, unfortunately my wife likes wine more than my mini's. Maybe one year I could get her to vacation during the rides. Weekend after mother's day every year is our michigan vacation.

I just wanted to bump up this event up and share a quick story. Back in May my wife and I were in Michigan visiting different winery's and went to Shook farms. Daryl was a great host showing me around and giving me a tour of the property. His wife was nice enough to keep my wife company while we looked at his bikes and acted like 12 year olds. We have been going to northern Michigan since 2004 and this was by far my favorite trip. Any one who can make the event will not be disappointed.
Thank you again Daryl

Curious what the dui laws are in Michigan….here in wv they will and have arrested for mowing the lawn while drinking a beer….
I couldn't tell you for sure. I don't drink any alcohol but my wife likes the wines up there so I just drive her around. It is very rural out there and in most places up there, can't say I've ever seen any police. Most of the roads where I go are either dirt or sandy. Old logging roads and no pavement. I have seen a few wildlife officers. I see quads and utv's everywhere on state land but I don't remember seeing any vehicles while I was there.
