Mod 420 starting issue

Hey all. I built up a 420 and installed a 34 mikuni flatslide with mikuni fueld pump and ran it at idle to break it in for about 20min (NR racing recommended). I revved a few times and then i conked out, now it wont start. I forgot to tighten the adjustment bolts on the flywheel (ARC) and it did move, but now it's all locked down, fully negative. It's backfiring through the carb when I hit it with ether, but it won't catch. Thanks for any help.:shrug:

you have the adjustable flywheel? You say it's fully negative? do you mean it's fully retarded on the timing marks?:shrug:

yes it's fully-retarded. I was just trying to void p.o. any special-needs members on the board:laugh: I also set it on the middle and fully-advanced settings, but not go.

during break in youll have a lil oil blow by the rings in it will not run right but after break in shell run smooth. lets us know how she runs after break in dump your oil put a load on it not a hard load run it threw different rpms in your rings should seat pretty good.

Did you lap the flywheel to the crank?
