Around here we have a big problem with Canadian Thistle. Although Canadian bacon is welcome here even though we sorta wonder what it is made from. We use pigs here in the US...not sure what they use.

no thistles around here only goat heads. But his geese are everywhere. BTW does the bacon taste like maple?

From high above the astro turf looks lush and rich and green.
And even though there is real grass all around and wet land not 500 feet from the football field the geese land on it and stay.

They must realize that can't eat it.

But they walk around it looking bewildered and crapping all over everything in the hot noon days sun.

I wonder what they are thinking.

not much apparently. I hear they crap on the greens, turning a serious game of golf into a game of miniature golf. Turd hopping is allowed in the lower 48

They fly right by my place, natural man made lake out front, honking their displeasure, I think they are saying this is low rent water, lets go back to the city, find us a nice apartment lake with a fountain, and real grass.
