Budget build ....got my motor this weekend its a 8hp briggs and stratton I got for free off an old cement mixer. Needs some work but its a start. Ive got to build a bike as cheap as possible. Hate to sound dumb but cant tell what the case on the side is, is it gear reduction, hydrostatic?, was going to tinker wth it but working on the house. Any one know what it is. guessing to just to disguard it mount up a clutch. Also not sure of gearing im 250lbs (i know, i know) want to be able to pull up hills I live out in PA. At least 30 mph would be nice too. where can I get parts for this old motor. Any advice or in put much appreciated thanks guys.
