I've been working on this for a month or so.
I found a place to get scrap aluminum diamond plate for $2 a pound.
It's been sitting in my shop for quite a while, So I got out my saw and dead
blow hammer and started cutting and beating, until I came up with this.

Nice work! A little flashy for me but I am a simple old man! You spent some time on it and it shows! Here is one my 14yo son and I did and will be disassembled for paint and reassembled soon we hope, as time and $ allow!
It has a chain tensioner, new footpegs a 16"tuffwheel up front and rear fender since the photo, we are going to call it the gypsy! As it is made up of several different machines!

That is a good price on the treadplate scrap! I get some similar stuff from a truck accessory shop, as well as cut off running boards I make shelving out of and sell from time to time! I get a great deal of inner peace building and creating things, even better selling the stuff making extra $ and making people happy! Most importantly it gives me a creative outlet to channel my angst! You should be proud of your little machine, it is unique and cool! My son loves it with the flames and skulls, looks like most of his shirts and hoodies!
