need help identifying the year and model!!

i know it is a honda 3 speed, not sure what year, maybe a 69' or 70. i've looked at some up on the net and the closest i could find was the 1970 honda Z50. can anybody help identify the exact year and model?

Boy, I'll tell ya. I'd love to see that thing totally restored. Nice project and I'll give you props for taking on a project like that! This would make a great restoring step by step thread!:wink:

yeh i got my work cut out for me. my first mini took me a year and 3 months. bout in the same shape when i started. not sure the model on that one either. i believe it to be a rupp though. check out my photos, its the blue bike.

i didnt find any numbers on the frame, however i did find some on the engine block. the tank isnt original, and there isn't any shocks on the back as well

Well it's a hard tail so it's pre 72.

I'm digging the springer front end, got better pic's of that?

It would be cool to restore it like it is.

how are you redoing this? You arent taking this back to honda stock are you? That would be a shame. This is a very unique bike.

I posted a pic on the Planet mini trails forum and it turned into a 2 page thread before this one did. It seemed like even the hardcore nutjob (said in the nicest way) Handa guys really liked it.
