Need to know about some kinda honda

Hey fellow OldMiniBikes members.I would like to ask,have any of you heard of somekinda honda moped with peddles?I have a new coworker that went on a job with me and through the usual small talk...minis car trucks...He mentions,he has a honda moped,with peddles,that he has no use for and would like to sell it.
Well im trying to help him find out what model and year,and so forth so i may help him sell it or for me to make an offer.He can only tell me ,its a honda with peddles and its about an 87.We cant go to his storage till this weekend and i will tell you ,its driving me nuts as to what is is.
Any help?

Thanks Jesse.But he said that he would put it on the center stand and peddle it to start it.I dont know the guy well enough to know if he knows what he is talking about.But those are footrest.

I hope its not driveing you nuts too. I think he thinks its a honda.But when i find out i will let you guy know.


Forgot to mention.He also said the motor was buy the peddles.

I have one, It's called an Amigo and has an engine and transmission with pedals. it has a little lever that disengages the engine from the transmission, so that it may be pedaled like a bicycle. the top end is a four stroke that resembles a QA50 pushrod engine, it is tan and white in color and without going out and lifting the tarp, I'll say it's a 73 model year.

Thanks Neck. I would like to see that animal sometime,cause i have not seen one.Also forgot to mention that he said it was a 2 stroke.Like i said to Jesse,I Think the guy may be mistakin that his is in fact a honda.But i have been wrong enough to know,that this might be something that i havent seen.Still would like to see yours also.

OH hell man, theres a few different peddle start Honda mopeds.. The REALLY old like 1960's ones had the motor right on the rear wheel.. :blink:

Theres a Honda Express that looks pretty much like Necks bike, only is 70's 80's stuff..

Well went a paid a whopping 75.00 for it.I told him he should try and get more,but he just wanted rid of it.Come to find out it is a 1982 pa50 lll,Runs ok a good carb cleaning and to find the part that covers the top where the footrest are on.So with out further ado.
