I have never done mods but I will speak using the wisdom of other OldMiniBikes members. You need to Billet up the rod and flywheel if you remove the governor otherwise the next sounds you hear maybe 1. Your nads hitting the ceiling, 2. Your foot hitting the side of your head or 3. Your spent money swirling down the drain. A lot of pics online of destroyed predators. Have fun but stay safe.

It’s running and driving now. Going to ride it a bit and make sure everything is fine before I break it back down for powder coat. Rear disc brake upgrade is fantastic. It actually stops now! Lowering it and adding the height to the bars definitely changed its riding characteristics. It’s very twitchy now, but it’s a fun little cruiser.
