here is a pic of the new grip i got for mean green.....i know the cable goes threw the spot with the smallest hole. however what is the part with the bolt and the nut? also is there any tricks to getting this all to work properly? here are pics
Ha ha...That's your cruise control.
I unscrew those out all the way, it breaks loose,
then I throw away the loose parts.
I don't like any resistance in my throttles.
That depends on whether you want some resistance in your throttle.
If you remove it be sure to toss the inner piece that breaks off.
In other words have it apart when you unscrew it all the way out.
I am with Mac on this one. With that attached, you have to manually twist the throttle back to idle because it creates resistance/friction. When I let go of the throttle, I want it to spring back to idle ALL by itself.
