Here's a couple of pics of a buddies minibike. I built the frame fork and intake. My brother built the fuel tank, the wheelie bar and welded up the header. The owner bought the parts, painted it and put it together.
It's an Azusa 4 1/2" drum brake set up. The drum has the same bolt pattern as a #35 race kart sprocket. Actually I think the sprocket is from Azusa also. It would be a cool setup but the but the brakes suck.
i agree those brakes don't last i ripped the brakes out of my frame . i was flying down the street and went hot in to a curve and went to slow down (hard ) and snap it twisted the lever on the drum like a knot.
