Yes, but they stopped making the plates with the numbers pressed in after 1971. From 71-73 they stamped the plates, so the numbers would have been fine indentations, not raised.

It has a gear reducer on it, I'm pretty sure those have a funky PTO shaft..

I swear there wasn't a picture of the backside of the engine when he first listed it.

I think you're right though. I just punched the engine model into PartsTree and got the part number for the crank (36827). That led me to a listing on Ebay for this crank:

I'm pretty sure you could swap it out for the right one though. It might set you back $35-40, but it would be worth it since the engine has the correct exhaust for the year and a throttle linkage that's almost identical to the mini bike throttle.

I don't think there was a pic of the backside at first either, the seller must have added it later.
Sure, the crank could be swapped but I don't think it's worth the hassle considering it's at over $200 with a few days to go. But then again, Tecumsehs are so common we literally trip over them here in WI:wink:

I figure that a 68 Tec H35 in that condition is worth at least $350 in the right market, especially with that exhaust and the throttle linkage. If the price is right, it would still be a good deal, but it does take some of the thunder away
