I really enjoyed his music. From “Rainy day people “ to the “Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald” his music painted a picture in your mind. Hugely talented man. May he rest in peace.

I was sitting here trying to think of a song of his I didn’t like….seems like we lost a friend….
We did lose a friend. I’m glad I burned a copy of a “Gords Gold” cd years ago. I’m sure I’ll be playing it on repeat later today. I have to look through my vinyl also.

A true music industry icon with a unique voice, that was such a great storyteller in his songs. I saw him twice in concert in the 1970s. The first time was at the Universal Amphitheater (back when it was an outdoor venue) and then again at The Greek Theater. Both were fantastic shows.
