Powerdyne "GALAXIE" Decals

...ok, I'm talking to Minibike Wee about printing some of the Powerdyne "Galaxie" foil decals. Apparently these were used on several different model bikes and in different locations (fork plate, side cover ).

1st....does anybody have a nice original example they could scan in or take a hi-rez picture of, along with the dimensions.

2nd....anybody interested in buying these if the price is reasonable...I know these bikes were not produced in high numbers but they seem to be popping up here and there on the OldMiniBikes threads.

Man I had a bunch of pics of the decals in my photos for the longest time,with measurments and everything. But when I traded it I deleted them. I will contact the new owner and see if he can get some pics for you. I am sure if you give him a set for doing it he will :thumbsup:

that pic right there isn't bad...but he probably would want something better. Apparently "Galaxie" was not a model but a series of bikes since they also used the "Galaxie" decal on the front of the "Rail" chopper

the other question would be what to print in the bottom box that lists the model.....

I actually sent all my pics with measurements to OldMiniBikes member (metal man) . He did another decal for me and was going to try to do this one too but I got rid of it before he had a chance. You could PM him and see if he has a pic you could use, I will pm the new owner also :thumbsup:

we need sizes guys.. for the gas tank label on page 1.. stripe dimensions Pg1, model 15 a decal (it is ready to print) and the Wedge shaped decal (Metal man posted on Photobucket link )
On leathernun's picture on pg1 I see about 7 stars.. ya think there is more tiny "stars" in the original decal also? or just the 7??

we can wing it and guess on the lightening bolt decal if we base it off the "Wedge" decal next to it..

get busy guys.. this isn't a pre-paid deal.. so it can go on the back burner...

hmmmm...I think Supernova has the Powerdyne gas tank now. 7 stars looks right, however you may want to consider leaving the silver model # box blank...they used this same decal on several different model bikes including the "Rail" . I can measure the stripe decal on my Powerdyne tomorrow and post it up.......might have to wing it on the lightning bolt decal...but that's the one that's the coolest!!!
