Removing the recoil

If I remove this bolt to take the pull start out will it unwind and be a mess. I was thinking of putting it in the original housing.

Why not remove the 3 small bolts and put the starter assembly onto the blower housing that you want to use at the pull angle of your choice?

It may be ok to keep everything in your "first build" thread instead of new threads. Just keep adding comments and questions as you go along.
