renew paint?

picked up a db blitz awhile back

been out in the sun & faded some. what 's best to restore luster till i repaint[someday]

Why?

Seriously, I have the same identical bike. I tried some buffing compound and wax and some shine came back. Paint is still faded, just with a shine.

I've never tried it and I'm not a paint man but perhaps a shot of clearcoat might give it a shine until you're ready to strip and repaint it. Ogy

If rubbing compond ( coarser than buffing compound) doesn't get down to good paint, then its probably faded all the way through. Good luck.
