Rocco's Flippin the bird, Vintage Class

#13

One of the things i never liked about this model is the shape of the handle bars so i changed them to 18" ape hangers and while i was at it i made it a springer front end too.

I usually use the (linked medium image) makes a big pic but not huge...

How much horse power does it take to flip a Bird? All the way back onto it's wheels?

Yoop is this working better?
I have an hs50 for this bike, still undecided how i want the seat to look on this one.
Have you test fitted the Hs 5? If that is a Drover frame (and it looks to be)
I don't think it will Fit. I did a Drover last build off and I had a H4 (big block ) and it would not fit (hits the frame and wont center) Some one else chimed in who had tried a Briggs 5hp and it would not fit either. I ended up takeing the Tec Hs4 off my Bird Thunder bird and it will fit.

The red one was with The Tec Hs 4 The bare frame was mocked up with the H4

The hs50 and the hs40 are the same size.the Drover came factory with a Tecumseh 3-1/2 hp also the same size as an hs50. I have the motor and it fits nicely, will post some pics of it soon.
OK cool I didnt try A Tec HS5 But I knew the big block wouldn't fit (or the B&S 5hp)
