Roller Tensioner.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a bit bigger of a roller tensioner that could be used on a monster moto 105? The stock one is a bit to small to keep my chain tight after I installed a new chain/ engine and I cant really take out another link. I seen people use skateboard wheels but is there anything that can be used?

Is the engine placement adjustable? Can you move the engine back, loosen the tensioner and then remove a link? They do sell half-links for your chain. I think I would try one of those solutions before I tried to make a new tensioner.

Ya nah the engine is maxed out all the way to the front oil drain plug so its not gonna go anywhere. I was thinking about getting a half link Ill prob try that before I try anything crazy
