Nate, that bike had a 3hp Briggs on it when I got it. It was tight though. I do not think a 5hp would fit unlees you ran a remote carb/tank setup.

I got an engine for it! It'll be a 5hp flathead with a tilly carb and custom exhaust.

Also, Anyone know how to take the rear shocks apart? The bike is ready to be sandblasted except I can't get them apart. Any help?

I have the bike completely apart now, except for the rear shocks. How do I take them apart? Someone PLEASE enlighten me!!!! I don't grok how they come apart!!

OH yeah easy as pie.. :cool2: Briggs 5 horse with a tilly and pipe is way smaller than the big block tecs WITH TWO SPEED that Rupp put in them
