Yea the Gilson rims are not really rusty, just dirty. Ill look around and see whats near me .:thumbsup: or just see what my hands and some sand paper will do, might come off real easy:shrug:

Its that back rim thats rustyed together pretty good. I just dont know how it pieces together. I am gonna cut off the old tire on it today and see if I cant split it from the inside. It did have a drum brake in it, rusted to crap. Id like to replace and add that back eventually.

As for the evaporust, lets say I pressure washed my fork tubes and springs then soaked them in the evapo. That would work right? The chrome is shot so I am gonna paint em once they are ready.

just make sure you de-grease the parts before you soak them in Evaporust and it will work fine....then shoot with some clear if you don't want the rust to come back....:thumbsup:

How do I tell what size the drum brake is?? Its a 5" rim.
