Trying to revive a 1970 Speedway Scarab. I'm in need of:
- Clutch
- Driven Clutch
- belt
- Jack shaft (including bearings, sprocket, etc.)
- Rear brake assembly
From the research I've done, I'm pretty sure the rear brakes on this model were frame mounted disc brakes that used the sprocket as the "disc". Essentially the same as the front brakes. Ive looked online and can't find any generic brakes that have exactly 1 inch between the mounting holes (which is what the front brakes are as well). If someone knows of a set that will work please let me know - doesn't have to be OEM/NOS.
I've talked with Bob F. ATK, and others and understand that the clutch, driven clutch, jack shaft are not easy to come by ... but before I go down the route of making the next best solution... figured I would throw this ad up and see if anyone has these sitting around in a box somewhere :shrug:
