If you are using an engine that originally used a pulley to drive a belt you just need to use a clutch that is sized to the output that the pulley fit on.

What is the type and size engine you have?

Can’t upload a pic for some reason guys but I got the pulley off with a wedge and it came out pretty easy. Thank you for your help

make sure the output shaft is at least 2 1/4 long modern clutches will not fit on a shaft that is less than 2 inches. many small engines have smaller shafts and the clutch is to wide. you must have some shaft showing after clutch is on in case it starts to slip off. others can weigh in but i do think 2 1/4 is minimum for a clutch.
