Super Bronc

I'm posting this video because I see lots and lots of Super Bronc activity going on. It's great to see. Anyway, a full 8 hours plus to get this wired. Where wasn't much usable wiring and hardware on this. First I needed a headlight plug as the one in the bucket was damaged and not useable. I needed a new bayonet base for the hi beam indicator light. Neither of these were easy to find today but there are some vintage motorcycle shops around and I found both. I have no idea what bulb should go for the indicator so I put a 14 volt Lionel 363 bulb in. We'll see how that works. Wiring the switch for the Hi/Low was a learning process. Whoever thought up the switch which also handles a horn and kill switch was pretty ingenious. The wiring took some thought as the Heald sheet isn't 100% clear. It's a tedious process to prepare the harness and keep it from looking like a rats nest but it was worth it. The system is pretty solid. Tomorrow I'll finish dressing out the

I rode this thing around for about a half hour in the dusk and it's a serious hoot. I think I'll look for a VT-7 next so she can have a little brother.

Tomorrow I'll finish dressing out the wires and ride the &^%$ out of it.

I am huge Heald Super Bronc fan, have 4 that are redone and three more that need to be redone. I ride mine about once a week and like to take it to Kansas Badlands where there is a ton of trails, some mud and some man made hills to climb which in Kansas its pretty flat. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Chrisr and Rick. I have to tell you Rick, without your help and Ron Kimble this bike wouldn't be where it is. I can't thank you enough for your kindness and help with the project. I am forever grateful.
