Taco REPLICA 55/99 Frame/Forks/shocks/jackshaft

#1
Gotta move on. This assembly was George Kaplans first REPLICA 55 that I bought years ago.I opened up the motor mount slots to fit the larger West Bend 820 engine, and opened up the larger crankshaft hole as well. It has the jackshaft and bearings, sprockets, rear REPLICA Taco 44 shocks, and the fork lowers and springs are original Taco items from the '60s. The welds don't look good, but they are strong. I had the assembly powdercoated Plum Crazy Purple. There are some small scratches and dings, but NOT noticable. I also changed the rear axle adjustments so the rear wheel can be pulled back or forward and locked down tite(larger engine caused the chain to pull the alignment out of whack.) Questions? E-mail me at jjwey@msn.com
Price is $700 plus shipping (about $45 to the west coast). I do have the rear sprocket assembly and brake assembly, plus some other parts/spacers to fit the 5" Azusa wheels..........if you are interested in the whole deal,I can work with a serious buyer(I also have the engine as well) I'm including some pictures of the frame and forks, the other pix are of the bike with engine mounted.
regards,Joel
