Tecumseh H60 Crank

#1
I have a Tec H60 that the crank shaft is broken off flush. Is there any other motors with an interchangeable crank or do I need one specifically from another h60?

there were a bunch of h60 parts on e-bay recently. You probably will need to find an h60 crank. I forgot exactly how it goes but I think that the h50 and h60 have the same bore size but the crank stroke is different. The h60 and h70 have the same crank stroke but the bore is larger on the 70. I don't know if the h70 crank will work because I think the rod journal is larger on the h70. But if you use the h70 rod with the crank in the h60 block it might not matter except if the h70 is a 1" shaft. I don't know if the crank from a ball bearing engine is different.

Randy and Oldfatguy are both correct...either the H50 or H70 cranks will work in the H60 block but you will need the respective rods for either crank to work....You can use a non-bearing crank if you have a bearing cover but will need a 5hp Briggs pto bearing and some 1" machine washers (shims) to go between the bearing and crank gear....get a few side cover gaskets also to set the end play.... You will be better off going with an h60 or h70 since the h50 rods are hard to find but new aftermarket rods are avail for the h60 and h70..
